Kimberly Jackson
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Hi, My name is Kimberly Jackson and I am an author of several nonfiction books in the area of Christian living, prophecy, poetry, Bible studies and Christian education.
Shortly after renewing my vows unto the Lord, the miracle of a hidden talent “the Writer’s Pen” manifested in my life and to this day blossoms and fills dark empty places with life changing kingdom sound messages of blessedness, salvation, healing, hope, and deliverance.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The name of my latest book is “The Woman and the Dragon: Israel, the holy nation trampled upon.” God inspired me to write this book in 2008 and recently permitted me to release it this year March 2015. It appears that time finally caught up with the messages in this book.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Inspiration tends to come when I least expect it, so I keep a pen and pad with me always. I love writing in the morning hours when the mind is clear and fresh. I write in a pad and then transfer it to my computer.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Prolific Authors Myles Monroe and Kenneth Hagin, Sr. have had a great impact in my life. They mentored me along my Christian walk. Rest in peace.
What are you working on now?
I am working on several literary projects to include another book, “Victory in Darkness,” which is a compilation of victory poems, quotes, affirmations and inspirational messages.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I use social media, Goodreads, Authors Den, my blogs, and sites like Pretty-Hot.com to promote my books.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write what you know and it will definitely flow. Writing what you have experienced is the best teacher and makes you an authoritative on your subject matter and will keep the readers coming.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Stay focused and keep writing. Be patient. God is in control and has a timing for everything under the sun.
What are you reading now?
I just finished reading Encounters with God by Regina Clarinda.
What’s next for you as a writer?
What’s next for me as a writer is publishing more books especially in the children’s genre.
What is your favorite book of all time?
My favorite book of all time is the Holy Bible, God’s blueprint for living, which is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
